“What makes a town, city, or county great is not merely found in the number of buildings it has, nor the amount of revenue it receives, but rather in the quality of life it affords its citizens.”

As a servant-leader my life’s work over the last 30 years has centered on the principle of “social engineering”; that is, developing and refining systems and structures to promote opportunity, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Throughout my career I have worked at the nexus of government, non-profits, and the private sector. I have a proven track record of leading change within complex systems such as education, health/human services, the workforce, and economic development.
I have focused on creating sustainable collective impact strategies to improve the quality of life for individuals and families. I have worked to promote sustainable communities through successful collaborative partnerships between government, the private sector, and the non-profit community, to meet emerging needs within large and pluralistic communities.
